How to stream your hosted videos to Google Chromecast

Our premium subsonic video hosting plans come with out of the box support to easily stream your videos and music to your Chromecast.  You can chromecast from any installation of the chrome browser on a variety of devices.  If you have chromecast installed, you should see the following icon in the upper right of your browser’s address bar:

If you do not see the chromecast icon enabled or correctly showing an available Chromecast, It may be because you haven’t installed or downloaded chromecast correctly.  If you continue to have issues, you should check out Google’s chromecast documentation.  If your browser is showing the Googlecast icon and everything appears to be setup with chromecast, you can navigate and login to your HostingVideo.com Subsonic server.  You should be able to cast the entire webpage to your chromecast or you can use the built in chromecast button for streaming videos:

The same button can be found in the music player to stream your music to your TV via chromecast as well:
